hi
some week ago I bought an ipod nano 4gb clone.
informations I could read in it are following:
chip1: samsung 810 k9hbg08u1m pcb0
chip2: sgs851

the prob:
on EVERY windows xp pc I try to connect it I can't see the external flash disk, unless I downgrade the USB port to 1.1 standart.
Better: If I let USB ports as 2.0, as usual, when I connect the player I do see the unit connected, but I can't see any of the files are in it and I cannot format the unit.
If I configure ports as usb 1.1 everything is ok, but the file transfer speed (very low)
I read somewhere it was a known "bug".
Any idea?
regards
francesco

Because there are so many varieties of Chinese nano clones, it is possible that one of the manufacturers of those clones made one with a 'known bug'. Where did you read that it was a known bug for your specific player? Was it from a manufacturer website?

If this is the case, then you may contact the seller or manufacturer to enquire if firmware can fix such a bug, if there is an update, or whether you may just have to get a different clone altogether.
