Hi,
I just bought 2 PMP's from a local reseller, one of them is your model ELMP40141G and the other is model ELC206 (though missing FM-radio).
As the manual is very thin it doesnt explain much, and though I contacted the reseller about my questions they cant find the info either.
My ELMP40141G player is stated to have video recording function using AV-in cable, to be able to record video from a DVD player etc.
But I am not able to find this option anywhere in the menu's?
I can only find the option to record video using the built in camera.
One more thing that seems pretty basic that I cant figure out, is how to jump forward in a movie when watching it.
For instance to jump 20 mins into a movie, or at least to fastforward (highspeed forward).
I have only been able to forward the video at about double speed (not useful at all though).
Have some more questions but I will settle for getting help with these questions to start with.
Hope someone knows the answer to these.
Regards, Bundi |

AV-IN comes as an option on some of the same model MP4 Players, though ours comes as a standard option.
Does your MP4 player have the AV-IN port on it? _________________ etronicsland.com

Yes, one of them has a port marked AV-in (model ELMP40141G), though the other one said in the specs it also should be able to record video.
Anyway, I am happy if one of them are able to record video
Regarding my other question, do you have any suggestion on how to skip forward when watching videos (or fastforward) ?
Thanks for your reply, sorry for my late reply but I didnt get any notification to my email as I expected to when someone replied.

Still checking for answers to your first AV-IN question.
As for your second question, you can press and hold down the left arrow or right arrow button for the length of time you want video forwarded. Release the button when you forward to exact point on the video that you want to watch. _________________ MP4 Player PMP Fanatic |
