.My MP4 went dead after I pressed settings:default.Can anybody suggest how to revive my mp4 or suggest tthe firmware.

You should check the mp4 mp5 firmwares download section of etronicsland and you should find what you are looking for.
If you do not find it, mention it in the forum and keep checking the firmware downloads section because it will eventually be added by the site admins.
