Error when converting

I recently bought a mp4 watch from amazon. The watch came with a driver cd, and on the cd was a program i would have to use to convert video files to SMV to play on my watch. However, i used a prgram on the internet but when i go to convert the file and an error appears saying:

FAILED(hr=0x800040209) in m_pVideoGrabber ->Get connectedMedia Type( &mt )


So i decided to use the program on the driver, which turns out to be the exact same program, but with a different error saying:

Failed Result = 0x80004005


What is wrong? What do i have to do to get it to work? Is there any other programs better than Sigma Tel motion video/SMV tool?

You may be missing some codecs on your PC computer. This may be the reason you are getting errors when trying to convert.

Click the link below to install the necessary codecs on your PC computer. This is for PC's and not Macs....so, hopefully you are running a PC. Once you install the codecs, then try to convert video files and see if everything works without any errors. Post your findings here.
