My player has a vertical screen but I uploaded a firmware that has horizontal buttons. Now i can olny scroll through all the buttons but unable to press enter because none of the buttons work. Now I have found the proper firmware that has vertical screen but How to remove the wrong firmware? I cant format the player as none of the buttons work. When I connect the player to computer it shows two removable disks but no firmware files.
Mp3 player utilities and mp3 product tools are unable to recognise the player. I am unable to find Mp4 player firmware upgrade tool either.
This is my player.

Hmm...that is very strange. Did you try a different computer?..with either the same or different OS?

Try using another computer to upgrade the mp4 player firmware and see if that helps.

Mr.MP4 Guru,

I have tried to upgrade with more than ten computers. When i connect the device thru USB the computer recognises two drives. One contains folders like Audio, Video.. etc. Only four folders. The other drive is MMc slot. But i am unable get in to the flash drive or see firmware files.

Backup any important audio/video files you may have on the mp4 player, then try to format the mp4 player.

Once you format the player, try updating the firmware and see what happens.

As I said I am unable to format the firmware files and bring the player to show bios information. Now the only solution may be to short circuit the IC to bring it to recovery mode. If i place picture of the board can anybody plase tell me how to bring the player to recovery mode???

Put photo(s) of the board for others to see. The more info about your problem, the better we can help in this mp4 forum.
