| I have a device (Philips) that reads SMV video files only. I can find no Mac software to convert MP4 to SMV. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

I am not aware of any video conversion software for Mac OSX that converts MP4 video to SMV format specifically. Most that support conversion to SMV format are Windows-based.
I presume that the video conversion software that came with the Philips MP4 player is for Windows PC's right? |

| Thank you for your reply. Yes, the software that came with the device is for PC only. I've spent a great deal of time searching for a MacOS option, including contacting the makers of PC-based software solutions, with no luck. I've never encountered a Mac dead end such as this. If you discover a solution, please let me know. Thank you for your help. |
