Help! Dead player + Unrecognized by Windows

I had a small problem with my mp4 player. I upgraded it then but using another version: 9.1.52 ==> [b]The result:[/b] dead player .

I upgraded it again using the version 9.1.51 ==> [b]The new result:[/b] dead player + unrecognized by windows (nothing happens when I connect the device to the PC).

How can I make it recognized again by my PC

And please I need the firmware.

Always backup the original firmware on your mp4 player, then update with same firmware version for your mp4 player otherwise you will 'brick' your mp4 player.

How long have you had the player? If you have a problem with it and you purchased it within 30 days you can return it for refund or replacement. Try and talk to the seller and see what they say about replacing the player.

Make sure you have the correct firmware for your mp4 player and then try again to update it and see what happens. You can do a search in this forum about the steps needed to update your mp4 player's firmware.

Yes in fact I already upgraded my mp4 player with a wrong firmware .. Now I haven't its original firmware but here are the features:

Unfortunatelty I purchased it long time ago and I can't talk to the seller about its replacing.

The problem is that windows doesn't even recognize the device (nothing happens when I connect the device to the PC). And the MP4 tool can't upgrade it again as long as it is not recognized by windows.

How can I solve this problem?

You say that your windows PC does not recognize the mp4 player. What version of Windows are you running? XP? 2000? Vista? 7?

Have you tried connected the mp4 player to another computer with a different version of Windows running? (Sometimes some computers may have bad usb ports, so testing on another pc will eliminate or confirm problem).

I am using Windows XP SP2. I tried to connect the mp4 player to other computers but nothing happened. I changed the cable and nothing new! This problem started just after the second upgrade of my mp4 player
