i just got an mp4/3 player from china apparently. ie., both manual and help files are little help....
was able to get the pc to see it and could download some files. that's about it.

now it says it can take wma files. but once on there and you try to play it, says "format error".
will i have to convert everything to mp3?

i'm finding the navigation on the device trying. i can find the wma files. but i also downloaded text. i can't find it under the text section. says disk is empty.

really, trying to figure this out without a user friendly walk through is a task.

When i download, is there a certain "page" i'm Suppose to be on (on the device)?

Most likely that your MP4 player is unable to read WMA files, thus you're getting the "format error".

Generally, you do not need to put MP3 audio in a specific folder for it to play. You can put it in any folder you like. By default though, there are seperate folders created for audio files, and video files on most MP4 players.

You seem to be also having trouble reading text .TXT files. These files should not be a problem being viewed on a regular MP4 player with e-book capability.

I would suggest you contact the seller and have them guide you through some of the MP4 player's functions, since you purchased the item from them, and they should have some sort of customer support.

Just for curiosity, do you happen to have a photo? name or model of the MP4 player?
