I purchased 1 on ebay and it came with no literature. It has Lisong Design LSD-202518v_B1B / 2008-11-28 / 9.5.54 / 2008-09-05.

Any ideas on where to get operation manuals etc... I can't seem to do anything with it. It shows that things are on there when reviewing it from the pc but when you actually go to use it there are no books or music or anything listed on it. Any ideas? Please Help. I don't want to give a bad ebay review but if I can't even use it then what good is it?

So you are saying that when you connect your LiSong MP4 player to your PC, you can see the video/music files from your PC that are on the player itself, but when you disconnect the MP4 player from the PC and try to browse through the files list using the player itself, you don't see anything?

One basic suggestion is make sure that the video files are in the folder labelled 'video' if there is such a folder. Usually the audio and video files have their separate folders that they sit in.

What folders do you see in the MP4 player?

I see (and these r things that I did not put there) REC001 - REC002 - Musicedit - USERPL and the rest are folders of things that I tried to put on there.

@pfp2
Since you just bought this mp4 player, I would suggest you contact the seller and explain to them the exact problem you're having. Maybe the seller may have had other customers with the same issue and has been able to help them resolve it.

If no troubleshooting suggestions resolve the problem, ask the seller to exchange the product or give you a full refund.

pfp2, you should be able to see the multimedia files in your mp4 player without a problem, if you can't see them, then that player may have an issue because that type of problem is out of the ordinary and most times indicates there's something wrong with the mp4 player.

You should not be busy trying to fix an mp4 player that you just purchased. You should be busy enjoying it.

I would request an exchange or a refund.
