Seems that your PMP's battery is not holding it's charge. Try what one of our members did...click on the link below:

thanks for the reply, but somehow some way,the battery lasts long,i dont know what happened or what i did, after playing around with it so manytimes.the battery finally lasts long.the only problem i have is with the setup. My computer recognizes the pmp but it will not load any songs.i loaded the mp3 disc that comes with the pmp and right when i start downloading the(telebook)software,it stops and tells me...Source file not found..verify that the file exists and that you can access it.)So that what im having a hard time with.My pmp works but i cant load anything on it.

thanks for your help.

any suggestions on this will be greatly appreciated

greekstud,
You don't need the installation CD to put mp3 songs onto your mp4 player. You said the computer recognizes and sees the mp4 player, thus the mp4 player most likely has a drive letter assigned to it, e.g., H:

What you can do is just drag the mp3 audio from your PC computer and drop it into a folder on your mp4 player. You really don't need the installation CD disc to download mp3 audio to the mp4 player.

Try it and it should work.
