HELP!! Onda pg5-08gd Videos.

I have tried everything..like 5 different Converting programs. I have made a new folder on the player and when i do that the videos dont even show up under video. I used the programs suggested here and djusted the specs to what they said and that dostn work either..it always says wrong format. File Format Error is the exact message..if anyone has some help[ i really need it..i have been trying for 6 hours and im about to throw this thing at the wall lol. If its any relevnce these are youtube videos just to test

Oh and the siles work if i run them off the player.

So, are you trying to convert YouTube .FLV video format files to play on your MP4 player??

What video file format does your MP4 player play? Is it .MTV?.SMV?.NXV?

Currently I have been downloading youtube videos in .flv format and then convertting them, Now here is the tricky part..my USER manual says it uses .AVI and so did the site where I bought it, but the program that came with it is an .AMV converter.

Also I do not know if this is a problem, my PC doesnt read the disk they sent so i downloaded all of that stuff from the site where i bought it, but when I try to update the player or something it says no mp3 player found etc, even though I can copy and paste music right to it.

ok..i figured it out..sort of lol..my pc read the disk and i installed the 2.4 inch converter and it works now..but this site is very useful ty all, does anyone know if this player can support different games, nes games etc or if there are more games for it.

Most likely is that your mp4 player plays videos in .amv video format.

What you will need to do is convert the .flv file to .MPG, then after it has been converted to .MPG...you have to use the software that came with your mp4 player to convert it to .AMV. So, it's a 2 step conversion process.....FLV to .MPG, then MPG to .AMV

You can use the software FLV2ALL, to convert the FLV videos to MPG. Use your AMV converter software or download it from this website's file download section.
