Note**: Remember to always backup the original firmware on your PMP player before putting firmware updates, upgrades, or restoring. Also, you do it at your own risk, because the player may be permanently damaged if firmware update is not done properly.

Here are the basic steps below to update or restore your Hacha R280S MP4 PMP Player:


1. Switch the player to "Off"
2. Press and hold the "Play" button
3. Connect the player to you computer with the USB cable (still holding the Play button)
4. Now start the Firmware Update tool and "Open" the original firmware version that came with your player on the CD
5. Click "Update" and wait till you see "Successful"
6. Disconnect and boot up

Your player should now have the original firmware version.
