|
|
| I have an 8gb touch screen mp3/mp4 player bought off of ebay and it was working fine up until a few days ago. All of a sudden it just stopped working. when i plug it into my cpu the cpu doesn't even recognize it anymore. When i turn it on it stays frozen at the welcome screen and i have to press the reset button to shut it off...Is there any way i can get it to work again? |

I've taken apart the mp4 player and got the numbers on the circuit board which are:
TY_606V01
and there were a second set of numbers which im guessing is the build date:
2008.4.14
The memory chip is a SAMSUNG 837
Thanks for any help. |

| If the cpu could not recognise your player, you should change data wire, and if your player also could not use,i think you need ask the saler. |

Same issue~ I formatted my player (fifth player in graphic at the top of this page), now stuck at welcome screen, and the PC does not recognize the player. Any thoughts?
TIA! |

@Spikestrip, you can try another usb cable and try connecting your mp4 player to the pc and see if it gets detected.
As for the 'welcome screen' problem, it could be a firmware issue. _________________ etronicsland.com
